Ron Richardson (January 27, 1952 – April 5, 1995) was a soul singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the group City Limits and contributed as a songwriter for The Spinners. Additionally, he served as a staff writer for Gamble, Huff & Bell. Beyond his music career, Richardson found success as an actor, appearing in television and stage productions. Notably, he played a preacher on the sitcom "227," starring Marla Gibbs, and won a Tony Award for his performance in "Huck Finn" on Broadway.
