Ronie, known professionally as Ronald Mesquita, is a Brazilian musician who returned to Brazil in the early 1970s after touring with various artists in the US, Mexico, and Japan. Ready to step out from a decade-long role as a sideman, he formed a group of rotating musicians called Central Do Brasil.
