Ronn Matlock was a soul artist from Detroit, Michigan, born on September 15, 1947. He made a brief recording appearance on the music scene in 1979, with notable hit singles including "Can't Forget About You," "Working Man," and "Take Me To The Top (Of Your Mountain)" from his Love City LP, which was recorded at Sound Suite Studios in Detroit. Throughout his career, Matlock collaborated with various artists, including Keith Barrow, Shirley Caesar, Rick James, Eddie Kendricks, Bobby Taylor, Norman Whitfield, and The Originals. He passed away on April 1, 2020.
