Ronnie Walker was a Philadelphia soul singer known for his rich falsetto voice. Between 1966 and 1975, he released nine singles across various labels, with notable tracks including "Really, Really Love You" (1967) and "It's a Good Feelin'" (1969), which gained local popularity on Philadelphia soul radio stations. Although his music did not achieve national recognition, it featured the full, sumptuous production characteristic of Philadelphia soul, combining horns, strings, organs, and female backup singers in a polished manner. While not reaching the top-tier status of artists like Brenda & the Tabulations or the Delfonics, Walker's work is respected among fans of the genre. In 2000, Philly Archives released a compilation titled "Someday," which included all but one of his singles from 1966 to 1972, along with ten previously unreleased songs. Walker also contributed to the songwriting of several artists, including a 1966 single by the Agents and "Magic's in the Air" by Esther Phillips in the late '70s. His most notable songwriting credit is for Charo's "Cuchi Cuchi." Walker passed away on January 15, 2019.
