**Bio: Ron's Neighbours** Formed in the mid-80s in Walsall, Ron's Neighbours created a unique sound that blended influences from 50s crooners, blues, and reggae to bands like Killing Joke and The Bunnymen. Their music stood apart from the polished pop of the C86 indie generation. The band released their only single, "To The Fight," as part of a split 7” supported by the Trade Union Resource Centre, and many of their performances served as benefits for striking miners, earning them a loyal local following. The tracks were engineered by Tony Osbourne, brother of Ozzy Osbourne, and recorded at an 8-track home studio, with a terraced house doubling as their rehearsal space. A memorable incident occurred when a tape recorder was left running, capturing a frustrated outburst from a long-suffering neighbor, which inspired both the band and the song's name. Nearly 30 years after its recording, the song was finally released in Original, Alternative, and Dub mixes across 7" and compilation LP formats.
