Rory Gallagher was an Irish guitarist and songwriter, born on March 2, 1948, in Ballyshannon, County Donegal. He passed away on June 14, 1995, in London. Recognized as one of the most influential guitarists of all time, Gallagher was known for his refusal to release singles or music videos and turned down the opportunity to join a notable band in the 1970s. His health declined while on tour in the Netherlands, and he later died due to complications from a liver transplant. Over the years, Gallagher's band included various members. From 1971 to 1972, the lineup featured a bassist and a drummer. Between 1972 and 1978, Gerry McAvoy played bass alongside a keyboardist and a drummer. From 1978 to 1981, the band continued with Gerry McAvoy on bass and a drummer. From 1981 to 1991, the lineup remained consistent with McAvoy on bass and a drummer, along with frequent guest appearances by a harmonica player. Finally, from 1992 to 1994, the band included a bassist, two keyboardists, a drummer, and continued to feature the harmonica player as a frequent guest.
