**Bio: Rosita Rodriguez** Rosita Rodriguez, born on December 4, 1947, in Caguas, Puerto Rico, was a talented singer, dancer, and comedian known to the Puerto Rican and Latino public of New York as "Alfileritos." Her rise to fame began in the late 1960s with her memorable interpretation of a song by Mario de Jesús. At the age of six, she moved to New York, where she completed her primary and secondary education, later attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Rosita started her artistic career at 17 with the song "Qué suerte" and recorded her iconic theme in 1967, which solidified her nickname. She released her first LP, "El Bellino," a year later and made her acting debut in the film "The Revenge of Gabino Barrera." Throughout her career, she performed with notable artists in Mexico and gained recognition on television with a spot on the "Show of noon." In the 1970s, she represented Puerto Rico at the Festival of Voice and Song of Ibagüé, Colombia, winning with the song "Cuando Volras." In the 1980s, she received the "Most Popular Singer of the Year" award from the Institute of Culture of New York.
