Roy Gaines (born August 12, 1937, in Waskom, Texas, USA - died August 11, 2021) was an American Texas blues and electric blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Throughout his career, he played and recorded with numerous artists, including a variety of notable names. Gaines co-composed the song "No Use Crying," which has been recorded by various musicians, including Ray Charles. He was also the brother of a saxophone player.
