Roy Porter was a musician who began his career in the late 1960s with a trio he called Roy Porter Sounds. As he expanded his ensemble by incorporating more horns and instruments, he renamed it Roy Porter Sound Machine. Throughout his career, he released two albums and several 45rpm singles under this name. Unfortunately, Porter retired from performing in 1978 due to health issues and passed away on January 25, 1998. Additionally, a compilation LP released in 1984 features material from Roy Porter Sound Machine.
