Roy Richards was a Jamaican reggae vocalist and harmonica player, born on November 9, 1941, in Clarksonville, St. Ann, Jamaica. Blind since birth, he began his musical career at the age of 7. In the late 1950s, he gained recognition as a harmonica player and recorded several notable pieces. Throughout his career, he collaborated with various artists. Roy Richards passed away at his home in Saint Ann, Jamaica, on May 25, 2007.
