The Royalettes were a girl group formed in Baltimore, Maryland, consisting of sisters Sheila Ross and Anita Ross, their cousin Veronica "Roni" Brown, and their friend Terry Jones. The members came together while attending high school and performed in the "sweet soul" style of the mid-60s. Sheila Ross served as the lead singer of the group. The Royalettes disbanded in 1969.
