Royce Da 5'9", born Ryan Daniel Montgomery on July 5, 1977, is an American rapper hailing from Detroit, Michigan. He is renowned for his longstanding collaboration with Eminem and has made a name for himself in his solo career. Royce primarily works with producers Carlos "6 July" Broady and DJ Premier. Additionally, he has ghostwritten for notable artists such as Diddy and Dr. Dre. Royce is also one half of the hip hop group PRhyme, alongside DJ Premier, and is part of the duo Bad Meets Evil with Eminem.
