Rubén González (May 26, 1919 – December 8, 2003) was a legendary Cuban pianist born in Santa Clara, Cuba. He is recognized as one of the most influential pianists in the Son music style. González gained international fame in the 1990s through his association with the Buena Vista Social Club and subsequently released two albums.
