Rudy Ray Moore was an American entertainer, actor, director, and musician, born on March 17th, 1927, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He gained fame for his Dolemite character and his contributions to Blaxploitation era movies. In the late 1950s, Moore served as the assistant to John Dolphin and was the shop manager of the renowned Dolphins Of Hollywood store in Los Angeles. He passed away on October 19th, 2008, in Akron, Ohio.
