Russ Kruger was born in Sydney in 1948 and began his singing career in 1965 at the age of 17. He is the younger brother of an unnamed individual and had some of his singles produced by his brother, with backing from The Atlantics. Throughout his career, he recorded for the Leedon, Sunshine, and Ramrods labels, releasing a total of eight singles between 1966 and 1969. In 2008, a 10-track compilation album titled 'Russ Kruger And The Atlantics' was released by Zenith Records.
