Ryo Okumoto is a classically-trained keyboardist hailing from Osaka, Japan. He is best known for his association with the progressive rock group Spock's Beard, which he joined in 1997. In addition to his work with the band, Okumoto is a respected studio and guest musician, having collaborated with a variety of artists, including Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Barry White, Eric Burdon, Peabo Bryson, and Roberta Flack. He has also participated in numerous world tours throughout his career.
