Saâda Bonaire is a German dance-pop project formed in the early 1980s by Bremen musicians Stefanie Lange, Claudia Hossfeld, and producer Ralph “von” Richtoven. Blending new wave, dub, disco, and world music influences, Saâda Bonaire cultivated a distinctive sound marked by experimental rhythms and cosmopolitan flair. Though their self-titled 1984 single for EMI remained their only official release at the time, the rediscovery and reissue of their unreleased recordings in the 2010s established Saâda Bonaire as cult icons of avant-garde pop.
