Sadi was a Belgian jazz vibraphonist, percussionist, pianist, vocalist, composer, and arranger, born on 23 October 1927 in Andenne and passed away on 20 February 2009 in Huy. From 1950 to 1961, he worked in Paris alongside notable local and American jazz figures. Later in his career, Sadi became a long-time member of a prominent ensemble. In 1995, he faced serious health issues, which limited his stage appearances, yet he was recognized as the best European vibraphone player of the year 1998 by Belgian critics. Throughout his career, Sadi recorded several solo albums, primarily with his own quartet and nonet.
