**Saint Tropez** was a disco group formed in the 1970s by American producers Laurin Rinder and W. Michael Lewis, who had previously achieved success with other disco acts like El Coco and Le Pamplemousse. The group consisted of three female session singers and released two highly successful albums: **Je T'aime** in 1977 and **Belle de Jour** in 1978. Both albums featured grand symphonic orchestrations and tight disco backing, with all instruments played by the producers themselves. **Je T'aime** included a sensual disco rendition of Serge Gainsbourg's classic, while also covering works by Van McCoy and Gregg Diamond's "Heart To Heart," reinterpreted in French as "Coeur à coeur." The follow-up album, **Belle de Jour**, continued this successful formula, producing notable 12" singles like "One More Minute" and "Fill My Life With Love," and covering Gloria Gaynor's "Most Of All." After a four-year break, Rinder and Lewis revived Saint Tropez in 1982 with a new lineup, including Mona Lisa Young, Phyllis Rhoades, and Lyndie White, for their third album, **Hot and Nasty**. This album shifted towards R&B/Dance while maintaining the lush orchestration of its predecessors and featured the single "The Love Stealers," a cover of the Peaches & Herb hit. A unique aspect of all three albums was an ongoing audio film noir
