Sally Spring is a folk-rock marvel who has been captivating audiences since the 1970s. A pioneer of self-released records long before the indie scene became popular, her latest album, "Made Of Stars," is distributed by Super D and showcases her unique voice and powerful songwriting. The album features contributions from a star-studded lineup, including Susan Cowsill, Gurf Morlix, Peter Holsapple, Caitlin Cary, Harvey Gold, James Mastro, Fred Smith, Rich Feridun, and Ted Lyons. Produced by Lyons, who accompanies her in concert, and mixed by Chris Stamey, known for his work with Whiskeytown and Alejandro Escovedo, the album highlights Spring's eclectic blend of English folk-rock, bluegrass, old time music, and country-rock. Born in California and raised in North Carolina, Sally began singing before she could speak. The daughter of an inventor and computer trailblazer, she embraced creativity from a young age. At 11, she purchased her first guitar and quickly learned open tunings, performing on local television just six weeks after starting to play. She soon began performing in college coffee houses, traveling across the country to share her southern Americana folk rock music with notable artists such as the Byrds, Doc Watson, Mama Cass, Rev.
