**Bio:** Самцы Дронта (Samtsi Dronta / Male of Dronts) was a Shoegaze, Dream Pop, and Experimental band formed in the late 1980s in Izhevsk, USSR. The band's early rehearsals focused on creating sounds with detuned guitars and inexpensive Soviet synthesizers, influenced by cassettes of Clan Of Xymox, Cocteau Twins, Coil, Psychic TV, and Dead Can Dance, in a cinema booth where Konstantin Bagaev, a member of the cult Soviet experimental band Стук Бамбука в XI часов, worked. By 1990, the line-up included Maxim Fedoseev and Anna Lebedeva. The band performed infrequently and recorded tracks such as "Cassandra" and "Croquet" in 1992, followed by "Wild Child" in 1993, along with a music video titled "Сумерки" (Twilight). Throughout the early 1990s, various musicians joined and left the band, including Vasily Agafonof and Alexandr Merzlyakov, but ultimately the core duo of Maxim Fedoseev and Anna Lebedeva remained. The band disbanded in the late 1990s, after which Maxim Fedoseev pursued other projects, while Anna Lebedeva began a media career.
