Sandra is a German pop singer born on May 18, 1962, in Saarbrücken. She gained fame as a successful pop and euro disco artist in the 1980s. Sandra began her career at seventeen as the lead singer of a trio in 1979. During a tour in 1982, she met keyboard player Michael Cretu. She started her solo career in 1984, and in January 1985, Cretu produced her album "The Long Play." The two became a couple and moved to Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain. They married on January 7, 1988, and welcomed twin boys, Nikita and Sebastian, on July 6, 1995. When Cretu launched his new project in 1990, Sandra contributed to the multimillion-selling albums that followed. The couple divorced in 2008. From 2010 until 2014, Sandra was married to another individual. She currently resides in Ibiza.
