Antônio Sebastião Vicente, known as Santocas, is an Angolan singer, lyricist, and composer born on September 25, 1954, in Bairro Indígena, Luanda. He is the brother of another individual, and his name, Santocas, is derived from Santo António, named after a well-known church located in Kifangondo. His mother made a promise that led to him being called Santo António within the family. Santocas's career gained international recognition in 1976 when he was invited to participate in the Festival of Political Song in Berlin.
