**Bio of Sarah Badani** Sarah Badani is a singer known for her brief musical career in the 1970s. Born into a musical family in Moshav Ahiezer, a Jewish-Israeli-Yemenite community, she gained attention as a 16-year-old with a prominent voice. In 1975, she recorded a single album that featured 12 songs, including popular tracks like "My Mother," "The Little House," and "The Story of the Soldier." Despite the success of her record, which received airplay on Galei Tzahal Radio and led to her being recognized on the street, Sarah performed only one show in Petah Tikva. Her music career was marked by comparisons to singer Ahuva Ozeri, particularly due to the song "The Story of the Soldier," which drew similarities to Ozeri's work. After the album's release, Sarah faced opposition from her parents, who were concerned for her safety and discouraged her from pursuing a singing career. Consequently, she retired from music altogether, leaving behind a legacy that continues to intrigue record collectors.
