Sarolta Zalatnay is a Hungarian vocalist and singer, born on December 14, 1947, in Budapest, Hungary. She first appeared on stage in 1963 and achieved notable success in the Hungarian Television's song contest Táncdalfesztivál, finishing in second place in 1966 with the song "Hol jár az eszem?" and winning the contest in 1967 with "Nem várok holnapig," accompanied by a Hungarian rock group. During her tours in London in 1968 and 1969, she became acquainted with the members of the group. In 1971, she won first prize at Táncdalfesztivál with "Fák, virágok, fény" (Trees, flowers, light). During her peak, she also appeared in several Hungarian movies in smaller roles.
