Satoshi Tomiie is a Japanese DJ and producer based in New York. He achieved early success in 1989 with a co-production that marked the beginning of his career. In the early 1990s, he toured with various artists and gained recognition for his remixes of notable musicians. At the turn of the millennium, Satoshi introduced a new club sound with his 1999 album that played a significant role in shaping the developing house scene. His single from that album became a worldwide underground hit. In 2015, he launched a new label and released his second album.
