Saunders King was an American R&B and blues guitarist and singer, born on March 13, 1909. He joined a musical group in 1932 and performed with them until 1940 while also establishing himself as a singer, notably collaborating with an orchestra. King first recorded under his own name for Rhythm in 1942. He passed away on August 31, 2000.
