Sir Menelik, also known as Cyclops 4000 and Scaramanga, was born in Manhattan's Lennox Hill. He gained recognition as Kool Keith's protégé in the early 90s and is often referred to as the "human computer." Menelik played a significant role in reinventing the sound of hip-hop alongside Kool Keith and his label mates, Company Flow. His hip-hop roots run deep, as he claims to have been rhyming since 1982. Notably, he lived across the street from Biggie and attended class with The Leaders of the New School. Menelik is also the founder of Sun Large Records and a star of Empire Management & Publishing.
