Yutaka Tanaka, known by his stage name S·Core, is a Japanese musician who has been active since the mid-1980s. He released his works under the name S-CORE, primarily producing cassette albums through his own label, Afflict Records. Many of his early works involved mail collaborations with various sound artists from the international underground scene, including Stefano Biasin from Italy, Telepherique and Trigger B from Germany, Merzbow from Japan, and Al Margolis/If, Bwana and Rafael Flores from the USA and Spain, respectively.
