Scott Lanaway is a music artist based in Toronto, Canada. He gained recognition with his most recent release, 'Mergers & Acquisitions' (2010), which followed his earlier album, 'Answering Machine Diaries' (2006). His unique musical style, described as electrofolk, blends acoustic instruments with electronic soundscapes, encompassing a range from pop to cinematic and atmospheric sounds. 'Mergers & Acquisitions' achieved national chart success on college radio across Canada, and the music video for the track '1333' aired on MuchMusic.
