Screaming Lord Sutch was a British musician and politician, known for his theatrical performances and horror-themed rock music. He was born David Edward Sutch on June 10, 1940, and became a prominent figure in the 1960s music scene. Sutch was known for his wild stage presence and his band, The Savages, which featured various musicians over the years. He is often credited with influencing the glam rock genre and was a pioneer of shock rock. In addition to his music career, Sutch was known for his eccentric political campaigns, often running for office with humorous and unconventional platforms. He passed away on June 16, 1999.
