Seatbelts is a jazz, blues, rock, and fusion band from Japan, known for their work on the soundtrack of the anime series Cowboy Bebop. The band features a diverse lineup, including Yoko Kanno as the main vocalist, producer, composer, and arranger, alongside a variety of talented musicians contributing to different instruments. The recording and mixing were handled by Masashi Yabuhara, while strings were played by Masatsugu Shinozaki. The synthesizer parts were performed by Keishi Urata, and Kiyoshi Sato played the tuba. Guitars were provided by Masayoshi Furokawa and Tsuneo Imahori, with harmonicas played by Ryuichiro Senoo and Nobuo Yagi. The drumming section included Suzuki Bakabon, Maki Kitada, and Hitoshi Watanabe, while flutes were played by Mika Hayashi, Kazuhiro Iwasa, and Hideyo Takakuwa. Percussion was handled by Ikuo Kakehashi, Mataro Misawa, and Yoichi Okabe. The saxophone section featured Shigeo Fuchino, Masato Honda, Naruyoshi Kikuchi, Osamu Koike, Masakuni Takeno, and Takuo Yamamoto.
