Secondo is the alias of Italian electronic musician Radovan Scasascia, who began his career in the mid-90s as Rade on Frank De Wulf’s Tribal Sun label. From 2000, he developed the Secondo alias on his DIY imprint Dreck, creating a distinctive style he coined Schnitzeltechnik, which utilizes a micro-sampling technique with disco and boogie record fragments. His club-ready productions gained underground recognition, leading to the release of his acclaimed album A Matter of Scale on the UK's Soul Jazz Records. His second album, Over Under, was released in March 2025 on What About Never, a label he runs with Capracara. Secondo has remixed notable artists such as Felix Da Housecat and has been featured in influential mix compilations by Richie Hawtin (DE9), Erol Alkan (Bugged Out), and DJ Haus (Defected). He has performed at prestigious international venues including Mutek Chile, Transmediale, and Berlin’s Panorama Bar, establishing himself as a respected figure in experimental dance music over two decades.
