Self Scientific is a hip-hop duo from Los Angeles, California, consisting of MC Chace Infinite and DJ Khalil. Originally formed in 1994 under the name The Numbskulls, they recorded a demo in Ice-T's home studio, which led to a brief signing with Loud Records in 1995. Afterward, they signed with the independent label SOL Music Works, gaining recognition with their acclaimed release "Return" in 1998. Their debut LP, "The Self Science," was released in 2001.
