Sephiroth is a project created in 1990 by Ulf Söderberg, driven by a deep interest in myths, rituals, and the enigmatic monuments and places constructed by humanity. Influenced by artists such as Graeme Revell, Lustmord, and Nurse With Wound, Sephiroth explores themes of the relentless and destructive power of Time, humanity's futile resistance against it, and the remnants of sunken cities, fallen towers, and overgrown ruins. The soundscapes are characterized by dark, eerie atmospheres and ritualistic drums, complemented by field recordings from locations including Cairo, Iceland, and somber Nordic forests.
