Sermonizer is an artist based in Bologna, Italy, who began experimenting with primitive field recordings and tape manipulations in late 1979. Since 1984, he has recorded numerous avant-garde, industrial, and ambient works using a 4-track recorder. His extensive output includes many private tape albums, comprising both studio and live recordings. Sermonizer remains active, with his themes, inspiration, and philosophy unchanged over the past 30 years. In 2011, a split LP featuring early tracks was released.
