Sewerslvt, also known as Jvnko, was an electronic music project by Australian artist Jvne, encompassing genres like jungle, breakcore, drum & bass, and ambient music. The artist often uses anime representations and TTS voices in personal videos, making their physical appearance and voice largely unknown. Sewerslvt's music features atmospheric, bass-enriched production with themes of isolation, depression, doomerism, and suicide, drawing inspiration from lolicore producers. Jvne gained recognition in the web-based dance scene with the single “Pretty Cvnt” from their self-titled EP, which remains their most popular track. Their album Draining Love Story became one of the most divisive electronic albums of 2020. Despite a perceived active presence on social media, Jvne has struggled with conventional platforms, leading to the closure of their public Discord server and a shift to Patreon for updates. They announced their final album on a placeholder Instagram account in October 2021, dedicating it as a “love letter” to their late girlfriend, who died by suicide. After releasing their last album in November 2021, Jvne did not publish new music until Christmas Eve of 2023. On May 8, 2024, they announced a return to music under a new name, marking a rebirth with several EPs released throughout 2024 and 2025, while still crediting Sewerslvt.
