Shake Keane was a renowned trumpet and flugelhorn player from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, known for his contributions to calypso, soca, and jazz music. Born on May 30, 1927, in Kingstown, Saint Vincent, he was not only a talented musician but also an arranger, poet, teacher, and a government minister. He passed away on October 11, 1997, in Bergen, Norway, at the age of 70. Throughout his career, he collaborated with various artists and left a significant mark on the music scene.
