Sharkey, born on July 25, 1974, in Plymouth, is a DJ, MC, and producer known for his contributions to the Hardcore and Freeform music scenes. His journey in the rave culture began in 1992 when he MC'ed for DJ Worm at the Utopia rave in Torquay. To further his career, he relocated to Haywards Heath on the south coast, where he began promoting a night called 'Plush' in East Grinstead. Sharkey also designed flyers for Hardcore Heaven alongside his flatmate Nick and co-promoted the Freeformation parties. He co-hosted a hardcore show on Kiss FM and co-owned a production entity. In addition to his music career, he has worked in care homes and as a teacher. Currently, he hosts the "Bonkers Beats" radio show on Beat 106 Scotland.
