Shaun Harris, born in 1946 in Colorado Springs, is the son of pianist and composer Roy Harris. He has a brother and began his musical career by playing in two bands during the late 1960s. In 1973, he released a solo album and collaborated with Barry Manilow. Eventually, he retired from the music scene to establish a children’s film festival.
