Shawn Robinson is an American soul singer known for her brief recording career that spanned from the late 1960s into the 1970s. Her first and only single, released in 1968 on the Minit record label—then owned by Liberty Records in California—gained popularity among Northern Soul fans in the UK. Following this release, she caught the attention of an Italian maestro, for whom she recorded sporadically. Her last release, "Yes I've Got Designs On You," appeared on a movie soundtrack in 1980. Additionally, she had a brief role in the Italian horror film "Un bianco Vestito Per Marialé" (A White Dress For Marialé) in 1972.
