Shinichi Atobe is an electronic music producer based in Saitama, Japan. His first release was in 2001, but he went AWOL for 13 years until Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty tracked him down in 2014, discovering he had other unreleased projects. They convinced him to release an unnamed project in 2014. In 2016, he released another unnamed project. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact Atobe in 2010, Jacques finally reached him via e-mail in 2016, asking for a remix of a track for his upcoming EP. Instead, Jacques received an EP titled '' which was released in 2016. Additionally, 'Ship-Scope' was remastered and repressed in 2015.
