Shinichi Mori (森 進一, Mori Shinichi) is a Japanese singer, composer, and social welfare activist, born on November 18, 1947, in Yamanashi Prefecture. He was married to actress Rei Ohara (大原麗子) from 1980 to 1984, and to singer Masako Mori (森 昌子) from 1986 until their divorce in 2005. Known for his husky voice and unique vibrato, Mori often rejects the label of enka singer, identifying instead as a singer of popular songs (流行歌歌手). His style can be described as moody kayō with an enka-style kobushi vibrato. He is also the father of singers.
