Shiro Miya, known by his stage name 宮史郎 (Miya Shirou), was a renowned enka singer born on January 17, 1943, in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. He gained fame for his work with the Pinkara Trio, particularly their iconic 1972 debut song, 女のみち (Onna no Michi), which is celebrated as one of the best-selling singles in Japan's history and the top-selling enka song. Mr. Miya began his musical career performing in 3- and 4-man groups before teaming up with his older brother, Goro Miya, as a duo. After Goro retired from the music industry in 1983, Shiro Miya continued his career as a solo artist. He passed away on November 19, 2012.
