Shoefiti is a musical project that originated in the late 2000s, created by Henri d'Armancourt. Initially, it began as a side project where Henri would send acoustic demos to friends, inviting them to record their parts in his studio. In 2012, Shoefiti transitioned into a full band, consisting of Henri d'Armancourt (vocals/guitar), Raphaël Tandoi (guitar), Charles Bourdon (bass/backing vocals), and Pierre-Louis Jozan (drums), and released their first LP. After touring and refining their sound, Shoefiti released a follow-up album in 2015, which showcased a more raw and explosive sound than their debut. The band underwent a lineup change in 2015, with Clément Caillierez taking over drumming duties and contributing to their 2018 album. With the release of this album, Shoefiti became a three-piece live band, allowing Henri to play guitar, bass, and sing simultaneously, while Charles handled bass, lead guitar, and backing vocals. Lucas Lopez, previously the drummer for a noise-punk band, joined as the new drummer. On February 3rd, 2023, Shoefiti released their fourth album, featuring guest keyboard player who later became a permanent member of the band. The album was released on vinyl and CD.
