Shy FX, born Andre Williams in London, is a prominent figure in the Jungle music scene. He first made waves in 1994 with his debut singles "Gangsta Kid" and "Sound Of The Beast" on S.O.U.R. Records, culminating in the release of "Original Nuttah," which became a defining Ragga-Jungle anthem and reached the British charts. Following this success, he established his own label and released classic Jungle tracks like "The Message" and "Wolf." His 1997 track "Bambaata" was celebrated as tune of the year. Shy FX's collaboration with another artist led to significant success, particularly with the hit "Shake Ur Body" in 2001, which showcased a blend of drum and bass with pop appeal. This track helped solidify his status as a household name. He released an album titled "Set It Off" the following year and later decided to focus on a new venture, Digital Soundboy, in 2005. This label has since provided a platform for emerging talents like Benny Page and Visionary, along with releasing the "Diary Of A Digital Soundboy" album with T Power.
