The Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela is a prominent youth orchestra and the pinnacle of the country's network of 220 youth orchestras. Founded in 1975 and based in Caracas, the orchestra has been under the artistic direction of Gustavo Dudamel since 1999.
