Singers & Players is a collective that emerged as the first mutation of a loose group consisting of 15 to 20 vocalists, musicians, and DJs, forming the core of On-U Sound label. This vibrant assembly includes a diverse mix of punks, Rastas, rebels, rockers, instrumentalists, and experimentalists. Members often collaborate with other groups such as Dub Syndicate, Creation Rebel, African Headcharge, Playgroup, and New Age Steppers. Notable figures associated with Singers & Players include Prince Far I, Bim Sherman, Mikey Dread, Style Scott, Bruce Smith, Jah Woosh, Ari-Up, and Congo Ashanti Roy.
