Skinny Boys were a rap group from Bridgeport, Connecticut, active in the 1980s. The group consisted of brothers known as "Superman Jay" and "Shockin'", along with their cousin, who provided beatboxing. Inspired by the hip-hop scene, they became recognized for their energetic style, hard-hitting beats, and Jock’s signature human beatbox skills. Skinny Boys released several albums, including "Weightless" in 1986 and "Skinny & Proud" in 1987, earning their place in hip-hop history as pioneers of beatbox-driven rap.
