Skúli Sverrisson (born 23 October 1966) is an Icelandic composer and bassist based in New York City. Known for his captivating solo performances, he creates unique moods with his bass, experimenting with various sounds, rhythms, non-rhythms, and electronic distortions. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists and composers and has served as an artistic director for projects like Innundir Skinni and Við Og Við. Additionally, Sverrisson has worked on recordings with various artists and has been a musical director for performance artists. Beyond the electric bass, he also plays the dobro, acoustic bass guitar, and charango.
